Zoe-perry
Perry is the child of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry, a director. She made her first appearances on TV in the role of Jackie Harris, a character who was played by her mom in Roseanne, an ABC sitcom Roseanne. The parents of her were not keen to let her play an acting career until she was an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry said that she was timid to perform at the age of 16, but she began playing at Northwestern University as a way to make friends after transferring to the university from Boston University. When she graduated, Perry moved to New York to search for television work landing small roles in series like Law & Order: Criminal Intent However, she was stricken by homelessness and brought her back to California in search of acting work. She was in 2013 on stage with The Other Place on Broadway alongside her mother. In 2015, she starred alongside her father and Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Anna Christie with the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. In the year 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family. Perry was a regular character as a character on ABC Drama about politics Scandal, starring her dad. She was also cast in her role on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory spin-off Young Sheldon as a version younger of Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mother. Despite having a family connection to the character she received the role via an audition.
